Glacia has taken a bad hand and flourished despite it. While large enough, the climate of Glacia does not allow for the Territory to produce enough food to support its own population, which has driven Glacia to become a haven of trade. Glacia is one of the few Territories that have benefited, indirectly, from the war in Terreille, if only because so many of their goods are being purchased to fuel the rebuilding efforts.
The Problem? - The Sceltic Ministry of Trade or simply "The Ministry", has their greedy fingers in every pie, and Glacia more than most. You can’t have booming trade without allies to trade with, which is why the current Glacian Queen has made some hard choices, despite knowing some of what the The Ministry does to its own people. The problem comes when the Sceltic Ministry of Trade decides it wants a bigger piece of the Glacian pie, and decides to start a rebellion, hoping to destabilize the region, and make the territory even more dependent on them (and Scelt). Despite the Queen being fairly well-liked, it is easy to fan the flames of discontent in a family who has previously felt slighted by an Antonovich rising to the throne rather than themselves.
The Solution – Putting down the rebellion, investigation as to the source of it all, and then some more hard choices from the Glacian Queen, more than likely, but what part do you want to play? Friend? Enemy? That’s up to you.
After years of quiet trickery and the subtle seizing of more and more power over the past several generations, the Sceltic Ministry of Trade no longer seems to spend all its concern on the economic welfare of this bountiful nation. No, they've got their covetous hearts set on bigger, grander, more ominous undertakings, such as gaining power and control not just over the Green Isle, but over all the imports, exports, and trade throughout the Realm. There is one Queen and her growing Court of Thieves, consisting of the outlaws and fugitives of the Territory, gathering her strength, courage, and forces to battle the wicked, greedy intent of The Ministry. And they want her dead.
The Ministry's influence is growing and one of the Territories they intend to have just as much control is Nharkhava. Twenty years ago a Civil War ended there and from it's ashes a movement has started, a Council that would revolutionize ruling system. A Democratic Council that would rule Nharkhava, however, they are at odds with the traditionalists of Nharkhava. There is one person the Council is having trouble with and that is Lady Julius, the newly nominated ruler of Nharkhava who has a specific time frame to get her Triangle together before time runs out.
The Council wants to ensure that this Queen doesn't make to ruler-ship despite she has been a good District and Province Queen in the past.
Will the The Ministry succeed in their plans or fail? Will you ally with them or stand against them?
