The Rules of FD

We took the time to make you a list of rules to follow. If you just use common sense you will be fine! But since some of us are a little lacking in common sense, especially when we're tired, we have concocted a list of stuff for you guys to follow. Please follow them.
The General Rules
[/color][/size][/u][/b][/center]01. You may have multiple characters but you must make a separate profile for each character.
02. Be considerate of others. If you have an issue with someone, take it to PM or off-site completely.
03. Our site is rated PG-13 so please use your best judgment while rping on this site. If there's something questionable, please bring it to the attention of a staff member so they can look it over.
04. Rp posts must be in third person and in English. It is okay if you wish to have dialogue in another language, but the majority of the post must be English.
05. This RP is open for all people above the ages of 13 - though be aware that this site is more for intermediate rpers as the posting minimum is 300 words per post.
06. If you're a new person, please wait for your first application to be reviewed before submitting an application for another character. We understand you might be enthused to participate on this site, but it'll help lessen confusion if there's just one application per person being submitted at a time.
07. The max dimensions for a signature are 500x500, and the max dimensions for an avatar is 125x250. Please follow this rule. It irks me when images stretch out the forum.
08. No hotlinking. Upload all images to your own host: photobucket, tinypic, etc.
The Character Rules
01. Follow the bio form provided and fill out what needs to be filled out. Please don't play around with the bio form and mess with the colors.
02. No Super Characters. Every character has a flaw of some sort, though you might just not know it. As long as your character isn't a perfect Mary Sue, you should be fine.
03. You can have as many characters as you want. There is no character maximum. You must keep all the characters active though.
04. Please do not make multiple bios in one thread. Make seperate threads. Passcode is hyper bunnies. It just makes life easier for us and it makes it easier when we go through to see what characters have been active and which ones have not.
05. Your character must be 16 years or older in order to be accepted. NPC's can be any age.
06. Playbys are mandatory. If you wish to change your playby or the name of your character, please consult a staff member.
07. For characters that are born to two characters that exist on FD, you must wait two months where the female character will be pregnant. After that the female will give birth, and you can make your character. Remember, your character will not be a teenager right away so please keep in mind that your character must be role-played as a youth for at least two weeks, where they were grow at an accelerated rate until they are physically sixteen years of age.
08. If two of the parents of your new character are nonhuman, then the child has a 90% chance of being born nonhuman and if only one parent is nonhuman, than the child only has a 50% chance of being born nonhuman. If both parents are human, the child will be born human. A dice will be rolled to inform you of the status of the child if he or she is born to two existing characters.
09. Your first character must be born human and must be affected by the meteor shower of 2012. Only after we feel you have been integrated into the site and understand it well enough may you make characters that were born nonhuman.
Posting Rules
[/color][/size][/u][/b][/center][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify]01. All posts must be 300 words or more. No less. This rule will be enforced, and you will get a warning if you post under the limit. This rule only counts for rp threads.
02. No double posting in the same thread! It spams up the boards and then the admins and mods get mad. Posting with other accounts after one another in a single thread is also spam so don't do it; they only time it is okay to post one after the other in a thread is if it’s an activity check or you are rping with two of your own characters.
03. Please make some indication of speech like "-speak inserted here-". Quotation marks for indicating speech are your friends. If you use color, please make it legible. We don't want members to go blind! We will send doctor bills to you if you make a staff member go blind.
04. No God-Moding or Power-Playing. Don't know what that is? God-Moding is when you make a character that is undefeatable and Power-Playing is when you play someone else's character. Both are big no-nos.
