DEITIES
In order to become a deity (or mythical creature), all of your orders must have something to do with your final deity of choice, which means becoming a deity will involve needing a lot of currency as you will have to buy different species upgrades to meet the requirements for a deity. Deities can be made up or taken from any type of mythology, but they can only be based on that deity or specific mythical creature (this obviously doesn't apply to your character being a simple Hell Hound but it does apply to Cerberus.) If your character is delusional and believes he or she is the god of the sun and ride a chariot across the sky, they are more than free to do so, BUT this does not necessarily mean they ARE Apollo 100%. The exception is if you buy the order 4 upgrade and make a character that lived during that time period and inspired the stories about a certain deity.
Upon becoming an order 4, your character does not suddenly become a different person with a whole different history. You may have your deity do stuff that the deity you are basing him or her off did though. Deities must have an affinity, whether it is for a certain element, good, evil, or something like love, war, etc. It must fit with their previous orders or at least with their personality. Each deity also has a temple at one of the craters where the meteors hit. This is where the deities can gift rep points to people who come to pray to them if they so choose.
ORDER UPGRADE INFO
Your starting order determines what your free upgrade would be when you manage to get the required points for the next order, however you can also pay currency to buy a different species upgrade for your character instead. When purchasing other species, only the order 1 version/power level will be available for the order 2 version/power level, though the order 2 will be a lot more expensive. This is to nudge you to stick to one species rather than making a witch, vampire, angel, hippogriff or something like that.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

The Levels
THE EXPLANATION
So, you may have become confused what the difference between your levels and your orders is or what the level of your species represents. Your order just represents that, your order. But your level represents how powerful that species is within you and how much it affects your character, personality, and appearance. As an order 1, your character will be mostly human but with a little something extra (this would be the level one form of whatever it is your character has become) i.e. if you are a fae at your order 1, you will be mostly human but with some fae-like qualities like perhaps you have pointed ears or a strange eye color. Now lets say that same character that is a fae at her first order becomes an order 2. You now have the option of becoming a level 2 fae which would mean that you become less human and more fae; i.e. you could now have pointed ears, a strange eye color, and an unnatural hair color and/or feline slanted eyes OR adding another influence to your character. Lets say you choose that your character will now be a fire elemental; so your character will be a level 1 fae, level 1 fire elemental. Your character will be a mix between the two species with some of his or her previous human appearance. This character could have pointy ears, a strange eye color, and bright red hair and a fiery temper for instance. Neither fae nor human nor fire elemental but some kind of mix. The higher the level of a species, the more that species is dominant in your character's appearance and personality. With every order you ascend to, you either get the next level of your current species for free (i.e. an order 1 level 1 fae will go to become an order 2 level 2 fae) or you can pay currency and upgrade to a new species, thus a level 1, or a level 2 if you pay the higher currency, of a new species (i.e. an order 1 level 1 fae will go to become an order 2 level 1 fae, level 1 fire elemental). Your level does not affect your power level. It just affects how much that species affects your character.
THE PERKS
So, the upside to sticking to one species (or purchasing the more expensive of the two species 'change' options) rather than being a hybrid of many different level 1s is that for order 2 and for order 3 you get one additional ability. This only applies to characters who are order 2, level 2 of a species or order 3, level 3. An order 3 with a level 1 witch and level 2 vampire will not get the extra ability but a character who is order 3, level 1 witch and level 3 vampire (as in they paid for a level 2 vampire for their second order), will get the extra ability for both their order 2 and order 3. To put it simply, if your species is the same level as your order, you get an extra ability in your order upgrade.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
