Upon reaching Order 3, you gain the opportunity of hatching an egg which will hatch to be either a dragon, gryphon, phoenix, gargoyle, or any regular animal. If you want a specific species, you will have to pay more money. If you get an egg in the slots before becoming an Order 3, you will have to wait until you become an Order 3 before the count down for the egg to hatch will start. The same applies if you buy an egg before you reach your 3rd Order.

The egg takes one week to hatch during which they have to be very well taken care of. When the egg hatches, the creature will be very small and be able to fit in your hand but will eventually grow to be about the size between a domestic cat and a horse, no matter what the species is. These creatures take on the position of being your character's guardian/familiar. They can speak, be heard, and understood by anyone. The other thing that these little guys will do is boost your power level by 500 power points. These 500 power points technically belong to the creature, but your character can tap into its power and energy stream to help boost spells, endurance, etc. For convenience, they can shrink down to the size of a ring and curl up around a finger.

These creatures are also very hard to train and get to cooperate, mainly because they do have a personality and independence of their own. These creatures are very different from species to species and every one of them has a unique personality as determined by the player. The specific appearance of the guardian will be up to you but if you make something absolutely bizarre, a staff member may ask you to change it.
