Tegan is of medium height and fairly skinny, since she does not enjoy food so much. This leads to her not being very physically strong, but what she lacks in strength, she makes up for in speed. She is a very good runner, specifically sprinting. She is physically very active, due to her condition when manic. Her hair is of medium length and her bangs are cut short. Tegan has very full lips which she uses to pout sarcastically a lot. Her back has a jagged scar, though, an injury she acquired when still in her teens when falling from roof and into a fence.

IMPULSIVE; Tegan is above all an impulsive and energetic person who is quick to jump to decisions and conclusions. Unfortunately, just because everything goes quickly with her, does not make it right. She speaks before she thinks far too often, which would rub off the wrong way on others. Because of her impaired decision-making, she is often instructed to seek guidance for it, something which she does not abide. The seemingly endless amount of energy she has allows her little amount of sleep and she can often be seen wandering around during the night. She will also very often act out and express herself in a way that is socially unacceptable, doing a number of things to get attention.

SMART-ASS; she will find a sarcastic retort to anything and enjoys it. This can be seen as offensive to others on many occasions, but might also be an amiable trait to her. Her humor may be one of the redeeming qualities and she enjoys seeing others laugh, even if it is at somebody. For her to find something funny, though, she will usually have to twist it to her liking first, and then laugh at her own joke.

COCKY; this girl believes to be more than she really is. She can be very conceited at times, especially during a manic episode. When depressed she is incredibly self-absorbed, even if she does feel worthless at that time. She likes to disregard authority and go against the rules, whether socially confided or school laws. It gives her an adrenaline rush which she loves, though deep down, nobody would know how she truly feels and whether she really thinks she is that much better than those around her. This can be a very annoying characteristic to others.

BIPOLAR; Tegan suffers from Bipolar Affective Disorder Type 1, which gives her manic highs and depressive lows. Though she has sought out and is currently receiving treatment for it, her medication has still not been calibrated properly, so she is still cycling between episodes. These have an obviously large effect on her life and her moods and coincide with her powers to an extent as well. One of the largest difficulties is to manage her powers in relation to her illness.

MANIC; during manic episodes, she becomes utterly delusional about a lot of things, including herself. She has a high sense of importance in the world and thinks it revolves around her. Tegan is in a constant state of elation and believes she is invincible; a quality that can have drastic consequences for her and that has earned her a number of injuries as well as committing harm towards others. It is hard to get through to her when she is like this, and if it gets so severe as to forms of hallucinations and violent outbreaks, it would be in everyone's best interest to have her hospitalized.

DEPRESSED; when Tegan is depressed, it isn't just being a little bit sad, it is a state in which everyday tasks are so hard for her, she can usually not complete them with her own willpower. Support and serious talks are much needed in these episodes. She will tend to drag down everyone around her once she opens up to them how she really feels, but will at first try and carry a smile, acting as if nothing were wrong. Self-harm is not uncommon for her and restraint is often needed to control her mutilation urges.

AFFABLE; although she is certainly not loved by all, she can grow on one through small sparks of kindness. She will usually win people over with a good sense of humor and a realistic outlook on life. Tegan likes to be protective over others, especially those younger than her or those who are bullied and discriminated against. She will not stand for unfairness.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE; Tegan is a heavy smoker and drinker. She uses these means for self-medication when she wants a break from reality and an episode. Often exactly these actions will induce a phase. It is her real weakness, one that she desperately tries to cover up with a lot of bullshit lies.
