Olivia has a petite, yet athletic build. She has long, brown wavy hair that she loves to mess with, and put up in different styles. However, mostly she keeps her hair down. Perhaps it’s the love of the feeling of breezes that blow through her hair or the wind as she chases after her prey. Her dark brown eyes are probably her best feature, she may seem to be able to hold it all together, yet those eyes hold a lot of regret and hurt behind them. She used to want to dress up and be pretty, but since the death of her parents she took up to wearing just pants and black tops. On the day that she turned twenty-one, her parents were murdered right in front of her, and she tried her best to fight off their attacker. As a result, she now has a six inch scar on her upper left arm that she keeps hidden. Her main rule is to always wear tops with sleeves that come to her elbow. Sometimes she still feels the sting from the weapon that hurt her, like the poison is still in her. Around her neck, she keeps a pair of dog tags that belong to her brother when he was in the service. He gave them to her the day before he disappeared, and she vowed to give them back when she finds him.

Loyal: Olivia is one of the most loyal people you can come across. She has learned to know who her friends are, but to know her enemies best. It has been her way of life, and it has gotten her this far without losing her life and enduring the horrible fate of her parents. Being this loyal has also made Olivia protective of anyone who has become close to her since her parents died. She doesn’t have many people left in her life, so she has become a person of her word and has become trustworthy to others, yet she is hesitant to put her trust in some people.
Determined: Olivia was taught to be the best she could be. She will not stop doing something until she got it right. Whether it would be for school growing up, or now where she is a hunter of all things demonic and supernatural. Sometimes her determination can be marked as bull-headedness or stubbornness. Once she gets something in her mind to do, she will not stop till it is done. Sometimes her willful and determined manner tends to either piss people off, or drive them away. She tries not to do that, but it’s in her nature.
Secretive: Since Olivia is all alone, she has learned to hold in her secrets, and to be careful to whom she tells her secrets to. Even when growing up, her parents weren’t always there to listen to her. Even when she was able to tell them what was going on in her life, she was still guarded and kept the most precious and darkest secrets to herself. Her only confidant was her older brother, Henry, they were so close, and he swore he would always protect her. Though now that he is missing, she has come back to full circle to holding in her secrets again. It would take a lot to get her inner most thoughts out. She has issues with trusting others since her parent’s death. She taught herself to be cautious, and hard-headed.

Being Born
Olivia Jane was born on a cold day on November 17th in London, England, to a linguistics professor named Theodore and a doctor named Claire Donovan. After many unsuccessful attempts to get pregnant again after having Henry, they were finally blessed with a beautiful baby girl. The name Olivia she got from her father’s sister, who was killed in a car accident a year before her birth, and Jane came from her great-grandmother. She soon became their world, and a joy to have. They loved her, and she would always know that she would want for nothing. Claire Donovan was very protective of Olivia, and hardly let her out of her sight, but Olivia found ways to escape the ever watchful eye of her mother. All thanks to her older brother Henry. The two were inseparable at times. Though her mother would worry that Olivia would turn out more like a boy, than a respectable lady.

Growing Up
As she grew older, she and her mother would butt heads a lot and have conflicting views on how her life would be run. Her mother wanted her to grow up in high society, attend galas and benefits, and marry into high society like her. That is well and with good intentions, but Olivia had different views. She liked going to the benefit parties, but she felt that it wasn’t her life that she wanted. It is what her mother wanted and it was what expected of her. She was a teenager at the time, and she wanted to find her place in life and be happy. Her father wasn’t at home a lot to help stand up against her mother. Since he was a world renowned linguistics professor, he was traveling and giving lectures around the world, so most of the time it was just her, her mother and Henry. When her father was home, he would spend his time telling her about the places he went to, and also teaching her several languages at a time. Soon she was fluent in several languages. Those were the times that she cherished the most. It was those moments that were never far from her heart. She got along better with her father than her mother, she looked up to her mother as someone who was strong and independent, but she didn’t want to be her mother. She didn’t want to live up to everyone’s expectations twenty-four seven. She was her mother’s daughter some would say because of her stubbornness and loyalty to her true self.

The Future
Then things started to change that would change Olivia’s life for the rest of her life. Soon after the meteors hit, the world started to change, and the people started to change. Olivia’s friends were different, and they disappeared. Olivia’s brother joined the military, and was soon never heard from again. Some say that he either was turned into a demon or dead. On the eve of Olivia’s birthday, she and her parents were coming home, and they were ambushed. Olivia tried to defend her parents, but to no avail. She was held back and was forced to watch as her two parents were slaughtered. As she stood there on her knees weeping, a shadowy figure approached her and whispered “Happy Birthday Olivia” in her ear and grinned. She would never forget that grin…those teeth. To this day, she is still convinced that Vladimir Dracula killed them.Olivia felt that her parents death was all her fault, that it was her fault that Henry is dead, so she closed her heart off from any man who tries to see through her. She picked herself up and taught herself how to fight and swore to kill every shadowy creature she could find until she was able to kill the one who murdered her parents.
