Gideon stands at a fair height of 6'2". He has a lean muscled frame that makes him seem a bit taller than he is. He has broad shoulders and chest that taper off at the waist slightly. His limbs are long, but proportionate to his body. His skin is naturally pale, though there is a slight flash of color so he doesn't look sickly. His features include high cheekbones, full lips, strong, narrow jaw, rounded nose, and almond shaped eyes. His hair is usually his more striking feature. His natural hair color is coal black and he bleached the top part of it. His hair reaches his jaw at the longest point and is shorter in the back. He keeps it in a messy fashion with his bangs fringed over one eye. His eyes are a deep chocolate brown with lighter more subtle flecks that make them seem almost honey colored in sunlight.

Gideon is usually a calm, laid back kind of person. Though underneath it all he's really just a ticking time bomb. He is a social person, but isn't a man of many words. He uses his actions more than anything. He is seen as a sarcastic, brutish person above anything else. He's opinionated and arrogant. He usually only cares for himself since he doesn't have it in him to trust himself with the life of another person. So he avoids the dating game altogether. He is basically unstable. One moment he could be the calm, flirtatious person he usually is. Other times his temper will flare out and he'll react violently. He suffers from borderline personality disorder, so he tends to be a bit unpredictable. He has a poor self image so he must surround himself with others to feel loved. His temper gets the best of him so he's not the best person to provoke.

Gideon is someone that takes a good bit to grow accustomed to. He can be friendly and loyal to friends, but they must be someone that can put up with his brash nature. He likes to test others, pushing their buttons and playing on their weaknesses. This is his way of assuring himself that those few are okay to be around. It takes a strong person to deal with him. Gideon is a loyal and protective person towards friends. He has little tolerance for anyone that thinks they're higher than him. Gideon was the first of twins born to Sebastian and Mikaela Hunnam. He was born and raised in Helsinki Finland. His younger sister, Alexia was born only five minutes later. He grew up strong and healthy. His father was never around much because of his job, so he spent most of his time with his mother and sister. His mother was a successful model from America that had come to Europe to tour and had settled down and had a family. His father was a cardiologist at the local hospital. He had a fair relationship with his parents. Though when he was ten, things had changed. His parents began to fight because of his father's work schedule. His mother would go out late and leave Gideon to care for his sister.

Soon his father left them and tried to gain custody but failed. His parents had divorced. His father had won custody only over Alexia and so he took her away. Gideon was left with his mother. She had begun a steady decline in her modeling career because of her drinking and partying. She would yell at Gideon for anything and her temper would flare over little things. She pushed Gideon into sports just to get him out of the house. Though when he was around, she would abuse him. She blamed him for his father leaving and hated him because they looked so alike. She would either ignore him or yell at him when he tried to talk to her. He pretty much raised himself from the age of ten.

He continued with school and his mother would grow more and more aggressive toward him by the day. She went out late and came home in the early morning with a different guy each week. She would force Gideon to do chores for her while she fooled around. When he spoke up, she hit him. He was soon forced into being mute until he was thirteen years old. He put up with her and would often go out with his friends and stay with them when he felt his mother was too much for him. He continued with school, but because of his home life he began to show aggression toward classmates as he was teased and provoked for having a poor family life. His parents were divorced and he was abused. He finally snapped and would pick fights with students. This became more prominent in high school though.

He was hospitalized at sixteen when he was shoved into the coffee table by his mother one night. The edge splintered off and tore into his side as well as the glass shattering and pushing into his side. He received several stitches and a couple small fractures on his ribs from the force of the fall. Soon after he left home and stayed with his uncle who had taken him in after hearing of the incident. He had always been close to his uncle and would visit when his friends were busy. His uncle had won custody over him from that time on. He finished school with only a few fights since he had calmed down now that he was away from his mother.

He soon graduated high school and attended a small two year art college and honed his sketching skills and went on to train to become a tattoo artist. He hadn't had much contact with his father and sister. Though his Uncle who owned a tattoo shop of his own, helped Gideon with his dream of owning one. He apprenticed under his uncle and was soon certified to become a tattoo artist. He worked for a few months as a normal artist, then his uncle relinquished ownership to Gideon and took over at co-owner. His business went well and soon his father contacted his uncle and he was reunited with both his father and sister. Things straightened afterwards. One night he witnessed a meteor shower where he experienced a change the day after.

His appearance had shifted slightly so he seemed more ethereal. He had gained more female attention because of this and learned of an ability to attract and charm the opposite gender. He had tested it on the same gender since he tended to experiment and found it worked both ways. Pleased with his new ability, he used it whenever he could when not working. He soon discovered that the meteor shower had made him a demon. But not just any demon, an incubus. Something he never really believed to be real. He's been this way for a couple months now and is more fascinated than afraid.
