He is tall and with the muscles that come with good old fashioned hard work and training. He hasn't specifically worked out to build his muscle mass, just a part of his training was carrying heavy stuff so he is only muscular to a point where it looks nice and natural. His brown hair is often gelled in a businesslike way, no mohawks or skinheads or ponytails for this guy. Suits are his preferred work clothes and his casual look is a pair of jeans and a tshirt. His colour of choice is often darker colours, black and blue mostly, white is the colour he wears least, hell you will probably see him in pink before you see him wear white.

For someone trained to kill and who has learned a few other ways to take life he abhors spilling blood. Chris would rather knock someone out than gut them. This is the reason he left america after being made a hunter, he went back home again with his sister to the more tolerant britain.

He smiles a lot, and has a subconscious thing of raising an eyebrow when he is interested in something. He is flirty and pervy, often at the same time. He has a love for sweets and cakes, often being the overly cliche detective with donuts.

He doesn't tend to get angry, believing prolonged anger will impair his judgement so doesn't see the point. Not seeing the point is another major part of who he is, he doesn't do touristy things, doesnt see the sights of take pictures of every brick on a wall. As far as he can tell if he can't do it or has seen it on tv he has no reason to see it or try it.

Chris absolutely adores babies and children, he hates cases where kids have been hurt or kills and tends to get a bit vengeful when it comes to the offender. If it is a supernatural who has killed a kid well... it is a safe bet that they won't ever see the inside of a jail cell.

Raised an only child in Edinburgh Scotland for the first ten years of his life, he was a bright child, picking up things quickly and without much questions. It was around this age he started aikido and that he got the news of having a new sibling.

Chris was a doting brother, always playing with his baby sister and looking out for her. Typical big brother stuff, hell he even did tea parties with the girly toddler, yep he is that badass. He even kept the boys away from her with little suggestions and inflections of his voice, the sword in his hand or on his shoulder helped just a little teeny wheeny bit, obviously his sister was not impressed.

When he was seventeen he went to university to study criminology. The next four years were as you would expect, hard work, booze, sex, girls, heartbreak and parties. During that time it was apparent just how smart Clara was, way smarter than him or his parents, quite possibly smarter than all three combined,

Before any real high school education started for Clara his parents tried to get her into many of the great american colleges, and it was Harvard she decided to go to from all those who would take her. Luckily by the time Clara was ready to start her early higher education Chris had just finished his own degree.

Having no other commitments in his life (cheating girlfriend well ex) he decided to go with his sister to be her guardian while she was in school. While he was looking for a job their parents paid for their rent and food and stuff but finally Chris got a job where his degree would be of use, in criminal profiling for the FBI.

The next few years were more or less uneventful, the off girl, catching killers and his sister working her arse off at school. He actually loved how sensible she was, no boys, no drugs or booze. Just getting on with her work, unlike her big brother. He was actually rather proud.

Not long after his the meteor shower he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Needless to say he had a rage fit before a contact in the military who had a personal interest in one of the profiling cases he had done where he got shot told him told him about a program they were working on and they needed volunteers. Having literally nothing to lose Chris signed up and became the first person the vaccine was tried out on, the first version of the vaccine of course.

His reaction to the vaccine was promising to start with, he was healed from his tumor, had increased physical capability and his sensory information was more accurate than a humans. Unfortunately this slowly dropped down to normal then into a state almost like withdrawal.

Still once he had recovered he was put into a test hunt with a couple other, and his improved stats returned. After a few hunts he was deemed as a failure and cast out of the system while they worked on a better vaccine. Chris was also torn up over the killings he had taken part of, he wasn't one who followed orders in the military to do what is said, he was someone who helped catch killers so he was guilt ridden over the actions.

The only thing that kept him from drinking the problem away was his sister and once he heard about the UK's hunter programme he booked flights home almost immediately for them both. It took him a while while back in the UK to get in contact with those running their hunter programme, being patient zero must have helped him become part of their programme and he was set up to investigate and take out supernatural threats and crime with a female partner.
