Ever since government lost control over the supernatural situation, many people have been trying to get to the fourth order as fast as possible, trying to get on the good sides of the deities, and working on becoming as powerful as possible to protect their loved ones and/or themselves. With the appearance of the already existing deities, new religions are popping up everywhere. The police force has been especially trying to motivate its members to get more powerful in order to keep order with powerful criminals running around. The scientists of the world have been trying to figure out what the deal is with why these mutations and new abilities are appearing in the human race, but, as of yet, they have been unable to figure out a thing beyond knowing that the meteors are the causes of this disruption to society. However, all is not hectic and crazy. In fact, many people are able to continue their lives with very little changes. Since it has been a while since the large meteor shower occurred, people have been going back to their ordinary way of life, with some changes granted, but not all that many.


NOVEMBER 30, 2012[/color][/size][/u][/b]

The meteor showers of January 2012 have become old news; the riots have slowly dissipated and the general public is returning to their daily lives. Many humans are still that, human, and those that are not are doing their best to survive in the world, some hiding their identity, others flaunting it. However, unknown to the majority, is that the governments are keeping the truth hidden and that things are far from normal and controlled. The scientists working for the governments around the world have discovered the cause of the mutations in the human race; a virus that alters the human DNA, introduced to Earth through the meteors. This virus is spreading, affecting people through the air they breathe, slowly spreading out throughout the world. One does not have to have been near a fallen meteor anymore to become affected. There are those who embrace this mutation into a more powerful being but there are also those who desire to preserve the human race. An antidote to the virus is in the process of being made, an injection just like any shot, that makes one immune to the virus or at least less susceptible to it. Those with this shot are being trained by the governments around the world to hunt down all who are affected by the virus and to eradicate them in any manner possible. Only problem with this vaccine is that, yes it keeps one from growing strange new appendages or from one's appearance being altered, but those who have gotten it so far are not quite human anymore either. Their senses are sharpened as well as their speed, strength, and endurance being enhanced. These super humans are called hunters, and their job is to kill all supernaturals they find.
